Assessment
Aligned Community Strategies recognizes that public safety is a complex issue and every community has its own unique challenges. That's why the ACS approach initiates our approach by collaborating with city leadership, law enforcement and community partners to conduct a thorough Public Safety Landscape Assessment. This assessment delves into data, identifies contributing factors, and performs a SWAT analysis of current law enforcement and community interventions. The insights gained from this assessment lay the foundation for the development of the Strategy Continuum
Strategy and Planning
Guided by the insights from the Public Safety Landscape Assessment, ACS formulates a Strategy Continuum that consists of short term and long term strategies designed to decrease violence and enhance public safety through prevention, intervention and enforcement. Acknowledging the interconnected nature of these strategies, ACS collaborates with key stakeholders to actively facilitate the decision-making processes that pave the way for impactful and actionable outcomes.
Implementation
ACS understands the hard work that it takes to move a strategy from concept to successful implementation. Therefore, we offer communities technical support for the implementation of their Strategy Continuum. ACS adds capacity and expertise to communities to accelerate the implementation process of their Strategy Continuum. Together, we will work to routinize the strategy into the fabric of the community.
